Sage Payroll 2008 support ends March 2013

As part of the ongoing Software Lifecycle programme Sage continually look to improve their software in line with customer feedback and developments in technology. To enable Sage to focus their efforts on the more recent advanced versions of the software their policy is to withdraw support from older versions.

For those of you who have previously purchased a 2008 version of Sage 50 Payroll, under the terms and conditions of our software support policy we will be withdrawing support for these lines from 31 March 2013.

So what does this mean for you and your clients?

It doesn’t mean that the software will stop working. However once support is withdrawn you’ll be unable to directly upgrade from v2008 to the latest version. Meaning that in the future, if your clients choose to buy a new version of the software, the data may need to be transferred manually.

Special offer

We have a couple of Sage 50 Payroll offers available until 31 May 2011, for customers without SageCover:

  • 25% off when you upgrade to latest version of Sage 50 Payroll, or
  • 12 months for the price of 9 on SageCover Extra when you purchase the latest version of Sage 50 Payroll
